Missions

Convoy of Hope is a humanitarian, faith-based organization on a mission to feed the hungry and bring help and hope to communities that need it most. Since 2005 Valley Community Church has partnered with Convoy of Hope as our arm of benevolence to the world.

In 2007 a memorial scholarship fund was established in the name of Matt Lucas. Matt was young man in our community of faith who used his gifts to serve the Lord and who walked by faith until his home going to be with the Lord. Each year this fund awards Hume Lake Camp scholarships to assist families with sending their students to summer camp. Many of those awarded scholarships would otherwise be unable to attend the camp and hear the message of the Gospel in the unique setting that is Hume Lake.

Throughout the history of Valley Community Church we have supported missionaries who are serving in a variety of nations around the world. We currently support twenty-five missionaries and missions projects on a monthly basis. Our missions giving is focused on assisting those who are compassionate toward those who have some of the greatest physical and spiritual needs in the world.
