Convoy of Hope Disaster Relief Convoy of Hope is currently providing disaster relief to the victims of Hurricane Florence. If you would like to participate in giving to the disaster relief, please indicate your donation by writing “Hurricane” on your giving envelope. You may also give online through our website, vccweb.org. We will be sending a check to Convoy of Hope’s Disaster Relief next week.
Christmas Choir We would love to have you join the choir for the Christmas Season! If you are interested, please sign up at the Information Counter. Both former and new members are needed. Choir rehearsals begin Wednesday, October 3rd at 8:00 p.m.
“The Great Pumpkin Fest” Our annual event for families in our community will be on Wednesday, October 31st. Funds are needed for generator lights, inflatable games and other supplies. If you would like to be a Patron Saint to help fund this event, please make a note on a green card, stating your name and the amount you plan to give. When giving, mark your envelope “Patron Saint”. We will also need lots of candy (the kind that are individually wrapped). There is a container on a table in the lobby for your candy donations. Thank you!
Precept Bible Study Precept Bible Study begins Friday, September 21st, 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Join us as we begin the study, “God’s Love Alive in You”. Through the short letters of 1st, 2nd, 3rd John, James and Philemon, we will gain practical insight on how to love one another the way Jesus loved us.
Adult Sunday School Class Our Adult Sunday School Class is using the series, “Crazy Love” by Francis Chan. Do you truly believe that the God of the universe loves you? “Crazy Love” will help you embrace God’s intense, relentless love for you and help you let that love transform every aspect of your being.
Wednesday Adult Bible Study Join us at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary for the series, “The Hidden Hand of God”. This study will explore the providence of God in our lives and how we can look for His work, even in the challenging events we experience.

We have rescheduled the date for the Children’s Ministry Worker meeting for Sunday, August 26th. If you serve in our Children’s Ministry Department, please join us after service for an uplifting and encouraging time together over a BBQ lunch. There will be important Kid Builder updates and information regarding new class groupings, curriculum and schedules. A $5.00 per person donation will help us cover our cost.
