If you are a formal member of Valley Community Church, please plan to attend the business meeting on March 26th, following our Bunch for Lunch, as your presence is needed to establish the necessary quorum required to hold the meeting. Childcare will be provided (infant through elementary age) during the meeting, if you sign up at the Info Counter by Sun., Mar. 19th.

 

Ladies’ Retreat Payments . . . may be made online on our website at vccweb.org or at the Information Counter in the lobby. Retreat balances are due by Sunday, April 9th.

 

Baptism Class . . . If you haven’t been baptized in water and would like to be, please sign up at the Information Counter. There will be a brief class on Sunday, April 2nd following service in the Conference Room (102). The baptism service will be on Easter Sunday, April 16th.

Children’s Baptism Class . . . If you have a child who is interested in being baptized and is 8 years of age or older, please sign up at the Information Counter. Pastor Lynn will have a baptism class on Sunday, April 2nd at 9:30 a.m. in Room 209. The baptism service will be on Easter Sunday, April 16th.

Membership Class . . . If you have attended VCC approximately six months and are interested in becoming a formal member, please pick up a packet at the Information Counter and sign up for the 30-minute required class, to be held after service on Sunday, April 9th in the Conference Room (102). If you need childcare, be sure to mark the sign-up sheet and list their ages. New members will be received on Sunday, April 23rd.

 

Easter Lilies . . . To help decorate the sanctuary for Easter you may purchase lilies for $10 each in memory of a family member or friend or in honor or appreciation of someone. On Easter Sunday an insert in the bulletin will list your name and the names of those being remembered. To order, please complete the enclosed form, PRINT your name and the name of the person/persons being remembered and place the form in an offering envelope marked “Lilies”, along with $40 for each lily ordered. You receive giving credit for this donation and may take the lilies home after the Easter Service.

 

Matt Lucas Memorial Scholarships Applications are due this Sunday, March 5th. Applications are still available at the Information Counter.
